Aldo Grazzi was born in Viadana (MN) on 25 October 1895. After graduating from Liceo Galvani in Bologna, he enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna, where he graduated on 8 November 1922 with a thesis entitled “Malaria prophylaxis and the importance of domestic animals in this”. He died in 1937.
A pioneer and promoter of football in Bologna, Grazzi was an outstanding defender in the period preceding the First World War. He made 14 appearances in red and blue in the Championship between 1911 and 1914.
